The best way to request support is to either ask a question on the the Stanford Doerr School of Sustanability (SDSS) CEES Slack channel or submit a support ticket by sending an email to srcc-support@stanford.edu. Nominally, Slack is prefered for quick, short answer queries or issues that users think are worth sharing with the CEES community; srcc-support@stanford.edu submits a support ticket to the SRCC support ticket system, and is more formal, but feel free to use whichever forum with which you are more comfortable!
- SDSS-CC SDSS-CC Slack channel (http://doerr-sustainability.slack.com/):
- Casual, collaborative forum
- Posts can be public, to CEES channel, or private
- Send email to srcc-support@stanford.edu:
- Briefly describe your problem, including the name of the platform (probably Sherlock!) and resources (eg., GPU machines, MPI job, etc.) you are working with, and mention SDSS in the text.
- These emails are sorted using filters, so having the right keywords in the description (SDSS, Sherlock, MPI) will help to route the message to the right person.
Feedback
We have also created a feedback form that is available to you to provide suggestions and feedback to SDSS-CC leadership. Your responses will help to inform us on future systems purchases, and also to improve our resources and support levels.
